ASEIC co-hosts ‘Korea-Poland & Slovakia Eco-Innovation Technology Matching Event’

ASEIC, sponsored by Korea’s Ministry of Startups and SMEs (MSS) and in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland and the Slovak Business Agency (SBA) and Kosice IT Valley of Slovakia, co-hosted the ‘Korea-Poland & Slovakia Eco-Innovation Technology Matching Event’ held in 3 cities - Warsaw (Poland), Kosice and Bratislava (Slovakia) - on 3-8 December 2017.
 
5 Korean SMEs and a total of 50 SMEs, government officials and related stakeholders in each city participated in the event organized to promote technological cooperation of eco-innovative SMEs of Korea, Poland and Slovakia. Participants to the event took this opportunity to identify potential areas of technological cooperation and discuss joint efforts.
 
Further, the Korean delegation visited Poland’s national research center in the field of environmental innovation (Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery Polish Academy of Sciences) and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) office in Bratislava, enhancing understanding of local eco-innovation trends, technological levels and market entry strategy.
 
The Korean SMEs that participated in the event include a solar (EcoSolatec Co., Ltd.), Carbon Nano Tube research and manufacturing firm (HiCNT Co., Ltd.), a solar energy generation company (Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd.), intelligent video analytics software firm (Intellivix Co., Ltd.), and a purification system and industrial filter firm (Saewonfiltec Co., Ltd.).
