ASEIC co-hosts ‘Korea-Indonesia Eco-Innovation Technology Matching Event’ in Jakarta, Indonesia

ASEIC, sponsored by Korea’s Ministry of Startups and SMEs (MSS) and in cooperation with the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop UKM) and Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) of Indonesia, co-hosted the ‘Korea-Indonesia Eco-Innovation Technology Matching Event’ in Jakarta on 6 November 2017.
 
Deputy Minister Wayan Dipta of Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs of Indonesia called for active cooperation between the SMEs of Indonesia and Korea, acknowledging the need for Indonesia to increase productivity and energy efficiency, save resources, cut costs and advance technology.
 
4 SMEs of Korea and more than 50 SMEs, government officials and related stakeholders of Indonesia joined the matching event. The SMEs of the two countries recognized the potential for mutual technological cooperation and discussed measures for joint efforts upon this opportunity.
