ASEIC has developed carbon emission management guidelines
and a greenhouse gas quantification
tool for SMEs within the ASEAN region.
By utilizing these resources, we aim to strengthen the carbon
management capabilities
of SMEs within the ASEM region, helping them respond to carbon neutrality
regulations.
This includes supporting the establishment of greenhouse gas reduction goals, thereby
laying the foundation for SMEs to transition towards eco-friendly practices.
We provide a comprehensive entrepreneurship enhancement program tailored for startups with
sustainable business models in the ASEAN region. Additionally, we train existing experts in entrepreneurship
to become specialized coaches in eco-friendly startups. Through these efforts, we aim to establish a self-sustaining
ecosystem where entrepreneurship can continuously thrive within the region.
ASEIC organizes a Global Eco-Innovation Forum in collaboration
with various relevant organizations from different fields to proactively
address Green issues among SMEs in the ASEM region.
This initiative aims to strengthen cooperation between SMEs, government agencies,
and other organizations, fostering proactive responses and enhancing collaboration
in the Green and Sustainable Development field.
The Green Business Center (GBC), jointly established by the South Korean and
Indonesian governments and operated by ASEIC, supports startups and SMEs
in the eco-friendly and new growth momentum sectors within the ASEM region,
aiming to enter Indonesia and ASEAN markets. GBC provides office space,
local network establishment, and support for initial settlement.
We develop and provide ESG implementation guidelines and checklists to enable SMEs
and startups to self-assess their ESG management capabilities, aiming to enhance them.
Additionally, we organize seminars to share information on eco-friendly technologies within ASEM member countries.
