Green Business Center Supports SMEs in Indonesia

The Green Business Center opened in July 2011 after the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Korea and Indonesia. The Small and Medium Business Administration of Korea and the Ministry of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises of Indonesia agreed to cooperate on promoting green technologies in small and medium enterprises from ASEM member countries to set a successful model of green business. The center is located in Jakarta, Indonesia and well-equipped with facilities and manpower to provide consulting, accounting and other valuable services to green SMEs. Thirteen companies were selected in 2011 and seven of them have established their office in the center; three more SMEs will move to the center in February 2012.
